Family Pictures

We got our family pictures back that we had taken in November, and they are so cute... here are just a few that I really like. Now we will have to get more done after #2 arrives in May!!

My 1st wreck Ever!

I was hoping I would be one of those lucky people who go their whole life without a wreck. Well, that ended last night! We were on our way home when a small truck t-boned us when he started sliding. After he backed out of our van he drove away!!! I couldn't believe it! We were able to get a partial licence plate and gave that to the cops, they were able to get his address. So the cop went there and the guy is here illegally, no drivers licence, and no insurance. Needless to say he is going to jail. So our van needs to see the van doctor to get fixed.

Greatfully we are all okay and so lucky it wasn't worse.

He is Getting So Big!

Tuesday morning we went to the Rec Center for the play time with Lara and the kids but before they got there Andrew was playing with the huge Soccer Ball pushing it around. Once Lara and the kids got there a few other kids got there and the kids had so much fun!! We will definitly have to go again!

Christmas Party

My mom and step dads ward had their ward party last week and we went to spend some time with them and have Andrew sit on Santa's lap. I refuse to pay the mall 15 dollars for a single picture so this worked out great. It was a lot of fun. The primary did a program and the dinner was really nice. Oh Christmas Tree!!

Drew and I put up the Christmas Tree last night after Andrew went to bed and while Drew helped feather out the branches he watched the Pats vs. Ravens game. The tree looks so good downstairs. This morning Andrew was so excited to see it up this morning, he went right to it and started looking at all the bulbs and stars we hung on it. I also set out my Elmo elf, The Polar Express Santa, and a snowman and its so cute watching him with all these things, he loves to go up to them and give them kisses. He is such a cute kid! This Christmas is going to be so much fun!

He moved!!

So while Drew and I were talking tonight I had my hand on my stomach and felt little movements... not strong kicks but he was moving for sure!! I told Drew to come over and he was able to feel it too. Its so exciting its starting already!

Heartbeat

We got to hear the heart beat today at my dr. appointment. It was such a great sound, the previous times the doctor tried he was moving around too much. It was a very strong heartbeat. We were also able to set my 20 week ultrasound for the 27th of December. I was hoping to know before Christmas but thats okay I have to wait. So now comes the poll. Is it a boy or a girl? Hubby and I say boy, Patricia ( my step mom) says girl. What do you all say??

It's Been Awhile

Ok I know I am WAY behind on the blogging. Especially with Andrews Halloween costume. I feel way behind the time because I had to use my film camera because as I was getting ready to take the pictures with the digital the batteries died and I guess I haven't learned my lesson to keep new ones handy. So I need to develop the pics and get them to a disk. them I will upload them for you all to see.

But other than me being a slacker, some new news... Drew is VERY excited the RED SOX won the World Series and the rest of the Boston teams ( the Pats and the Celtics) are doing very well.

I am getting over the morning sickness. YAHOO! We will get to find out what the baby is in December. I go in to the doctor the end of this month so I hope at that appointment I can make the exciting ultrasound appointment then. But I will let you all know then.

And Andrew is WALKING!!! He started walking without holding on to things while we were at my dads the weekend before Halloween. His cousin Chase was such a good cousin there wanting to play with him so he helped take Andrew around and to keep up with Chase Andrew decided he should be brave and just go for it. He has been moving non stop ever since.

RED SOX WIN IT!!!

I have such a happy husband tonight!! The Red Sox take game 7 to win the series against the Indians. So now they have The World Series to win against the Rockies. YAHOOOOO!!!!! I love a happy husband!!

Let it Snow! Let it Snow! Let it Snow!

So we woke up this morning to see this coming from the sky! I am excited yet saddened. I'm not quite ready for the snow. However it does look very pretty and thus far no cursing from Drew about it. The snow is very wet and heavy, some of our neighbors tree branches have broke onto our side. So that is going to be fun to clean up. Oh well. Here are some pictures.

Yep it's true

We are expecting baby number 2 in May. We are so excited to bring another child into our family. We had a doctors appointment on the 2nd and we got to see the heartbeat and the little peanut. Such an amazing moment. So as of now I am 8 weeks and 2 Days. I'm not so much as on track for my weight... I haven't gained but have lost, which I would be happy about were I not pregnant but I am being as healthy as I can feeling so crummy. A beautiful thing worth feeling crummy a few months for. I'm looking forward to the growing belly again.

Our Little Red Sox Player

We were able to get Andrew a Red Sox hat while we were in Boston, he isn't a hat wearer so I had to be fast taking this picture. I had his Aunts and Uncles distract him so it could stay on for a minute. He looks so cute! hopfully he will wear it whe he is a little older.

We recently got back from Boston visiting Drews family. It was so much fun. While we were there Andrew was able to meet his cousins, aunts, and uncles thats he wasnt able to meet during the holidays. We spent alot of time in the pool that Grandma and Grandpa Truscott have in their back yard, we went into Boston to walk around and go to Fenway Park, and we went to a New England Revolutions Soccer game. That was one of my favorite things that we did. For the last part of our trip we were in New York for a family reunion and a baby blessing for the newest Truscott edition.

This is big Andrews new toy! He has had so much fun cooking on it and I have enjoyed not turning on my oven. It was a very good purchase!

Scrapbook pages

So for our family reunion we had to take something for the family auction so the money could pay for future reunions. So I made these scrapbook pages. They turned out so cute I wanted to keep them. Instead I took pictures so I could make another one.

Little Andrews New Toy!!

We went garage selling a few Saturdays ago and found this entertainer for Andrew. We got it for $7.00! We were so excited cause it is in excellent shape and he loves it! So much better than paying $60.00 brand new.

He loves Cups!

We went to breakfast with my dad today before he had to go back to Boise. The food was so good. Andrew loves pancakes! He was getting angry when I didn't give them to him fast enough! I also gave him a cup with a tiny bit of water in it and he drank it!! Some did go on his shirt but most in his mouth! He is getting so big I can't believe it. He looked so funny sitting there with that big cup up to his little mouth. Man I love this kid!

Grandpa is here!!!

My dad came to I.F. for Samantha's graduation, so he stayed with us. It was so much fun. It was good to see him and for Andrew to spend some time with him also. He had so many smiles for Grandpa. So now I'm pretty sure he likes it when Grandpa comes to visit, Andrew woke up in the middle of the night and grandpa got up with him and cuddled him back to sleep. What a good grandpa!

However I had to remind Andrew that wasn't going to keep happening. He has been doing really well sleeping through the night and without his bink. YAHOO!

Congradulations Samantha!!

My little sister is all grown up!! It makes me sad. She graduated yesterday the 22nd of May, Im so proud of her! She looked so pretty. Lara did her hair and makeup. I can't believe how fast time went by. It doesn't seem like she should be done with school yet. But she is and she is a beautiful person with so much potential.

Now she is off to bigger and better things. And she is going to be great at what ever it is she decides to do! We love you Samantha!

Drews Birthday~ Just a tad late

So for Drews birthday dinner at my moms on Sunday 20th, we had steak, coconut shrimp, potatoes, and corn on the cob. It was so good, and a great kick off to such great weather. For his cake he wanted Beehive Cake ( oh so good ) and my mom got two of them so one cake had a few candles on it and the other was all the numbers my mom had that added up to 28. It was pretty funny. He had a great day.

I am so greatful for such a wonderful husband and that he is such a wonderful father to Andrew! I love you baby!!

Rub-A-Dub-Dub it's Andrew in the tub!!

Saturday night was bath night to get ready for Sunday. He loves his bath time! I'm pretty suree his favorite is the splashing! He washes the whole bathroom for me. He's a big helper! He is a ver curious little man trying to get the camera from me, but instead I got a super smile and a little wet. P.S. those tub crayons do stain the tub if not cleaned right away :)!

8 months old!

Andrew turned 8 months old on the 12th and man has he gotten big! At 7 months he was rolling everywhere, so I would scatter his toys around the room so he could go after them. Well now he his doing an army crawl and just about to get his knees under him. It is so much fun to watch them grow and see how fast they catch on to stuff. His is starting to talk a lot more as well. I love it because it sounds like he is saying mom mom mom over and over again. So when Andrew was 1 month old we put him into his "Build-a-Bear" Red Sox uniform and it was so cute, so for fun we put that monkey in the uniform next to him for his 8 month picture to see the difference... so here you go.

Isn't he just the cutest kid you have ever seen! All smiles all the time!! Oh and I need to mention he got his two bottom teeth between 6-7 months, well now the two top teeth are starting to work their way down. He such a trooper, he hasn't fussed of had a fever to tell us of any discomfort. But the gums are swollen and you can somewhat see the tips poking through. So that is pretty exciting.

Isaac's Birthday

Isaac ( my nephew ) turned 3 on the 14th and he was so much fun to watch open his gifts. He was so excited about every single thing he got. Drew and I got him this way cute " Cars " rug with a road on it. Lara said he has had it out every day since driving on it. Well since he loves cars so much this is what I have been working on for him, he hasnt seen it yet but it is finished so he will get it soon... Shhh Lara dont tell :). Sorry its kinda hard to see.

Mothers Day

I had such a wonderful day. I was able to talk to Patricia for a little while, we were able to spend time with my family and Jeff made a wonderful dinner for all of us. Thank you Jeff! And we talked to Carol for a little while and wished her a great day. Drew is such a wonderful husband! He surprised me Sunday with these beautiful roses and such beautiful cards from him and from Andrew.

Andrews 1st Easter!

This was Andrews first Easter picture. He looked so handsome in his new argile (sp?) sweater vest! And just look at that handsome smile it just melts my heart.

We went Swimming!

We went to Utah to visit Stu and Bela for the weekend and the hotel we stayed at had a swimming pool so we were able to take Andrew swimming for the first time. it was so much fun and he loved it. One of the best parts was the long nap he took afterwards.

My how time flies!

Wow Andrew is already coming up on his 8th month of life! He is doing so well. He hasn't learned to crawl but he has figured out that rolling everywhere he needs to go is just as effective. He can get going pretty fast. He is finding everything at his level that he shouldnt have and I'm so not ready for that. The whole baby proofing thing scares me. Oh and he loves food... he is eating so much... especially loves Carrots, Squash, and all the fruits. Thankfully he is not a pickie eater like myself! The last time we went to the doctor at 6 months he was 16 lbs , 13.5 oz, and 17'' long. We had to go to the doctor about 2 weeks ago and he was up to 18 lbs 8 oz.... So huge and he's finally getting all those cute rolls on him.
