It's been FOREVER!

I realize it has been forever since I last posted anything. A lot has happened since then. Most major one being I graduated from Western Governors University with a Bachelors of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies K-8. It has been such an achievement for me. Hopefully I can put it to use soon. The kids are getting so big. I can't believe I will have a kindergarten come fall. I love my kiddos so very much. My husband and I went through two miscarriages and later found out its due to a blood disorder thing I have. We are very grateful it was caught when it was to avoid complications further down the road. I have to take meds from now on to prevent heart attacks, strokes, and blood clots. After getting things situated and in order we are very excited to be pregnant again, due in July. We are so grateful and excited to bring another child of our Heavenly Father into our home.

A Turns 4!!

A is one special boy. I am so thankful for the opportunity to be his momma. He is SO incredibly smart, in can be a little scary. He is a little sponge. He is learning so much at the daycare/preschool that he goes to. He always has something new to tell me after I pick them up. His teacher even tells me how much he knows and how well he is doing (makes me feel so good and happy that I am doing something right) He has such a funny little personality. he is a little jokes-ter. He loves to tease his sister right back. I can totally be nerve wrecking but can also be pretty funny to see them both going after each other. If you can't tell, he is pretty obsessed with Toy Story, especially Buzz and Woody. He can quote the movie almost word for word. Luckily it hasn't gotten to the unbearable point for the adults yet. A... you are a great addition to our family!! I LOVE YOU!

My "1st" Day of School!

I'm not sure why I had Drew take these pictures or better yet why I am posting it for the world to see but this is a picture from my very first day of student teaching.... I think I may have done it because of the hard work that it took me to get here and the accomplishment behind it... but it is a solo pic and I am not to fond of pictures someone else can't be the center of... SCARY!

Z Turns 2!

I can not begin to express how much I love this little girl. She is such a sweet spirit and loves to sing songs about Jesus and I am a Child of God. Those are her two requests at bed time. She brings so much love and excitement to our family. She has a ton of energy. She loves all things girlie. She loves to wear dresses and bracelets. She loves to have her hair made pretty. She LOVES her brother. She knows exactly what to do to get a reaction out of him and it works every time! She can make anyone's bad day better with her contagious laugh. I LOVE YOU Z!!

10.10.10

It has been ages since my last post. There are so many things I need to catch up on. Both my kiddos birthdays, my student teaching, and life in general. I need to make it a priority somehow to get it done. However in the mean time, I have the opportunity to make a small record today! 10.10.10! How cool is that? So today, we had a pretty laid back day. We all got to sleep in, a pretty rare occasion in our house. We were up and going by 9:30! That is sleeping-in in our house. We got ready and went to church. Andrew is getting ready for the primary program! His very first! I can not believe how fast he is growing up. He is learning so much from his primary teacher and his teachers at the daycare/preschool they go to. it amazes me with the things he says and comes up with. Zoey went to her nursery class and loved playing with her friends. I got to give the Relief Society lesson on Repentance. I love the sisters in my ward. I am grateful for their input, their guidance, and their testimonies. And Drew did his elders quorum thing.... I'm not too sure what all goes on with them :)
We went to my moms for dinner and had a fantastic time visiting with family and laughing. I have a great family.

7 years together!

Drew and I just celebrated 7 years together on the 12th. I am such a lucky girl to have such an amazing man to spend the rest of my life with. He honors his priesthood, he is an amazing father, and he takes such good care of us. He is my best friend. I look forward to the future and the plans we have made. I love you babe!

I know...

It has been forever since I last posted. We have has a busy past few months. Over Memorial Day weekend we potty trained both kids, with the amazing help of my sister. It was a daunting task I did not want to face. It actually wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. By day 3 we had ZERO accidents!

The 4th of July was so much fun. We had family here from Georgia and had yummy BBQs and sun.

I also found out my last paper passed so now I am waiting for my Handwriting certificate for the handwriting course I had to do and I am ready for my Student Teaching starting next month!

Milk and Asthma

About a year a a half ago Andrew was diagnosed with Asthma. He was having attack after attack and doing so many treatments. He got used to having to wear a mask for his treatments and taking Singular every night. Well we found out in February that he has an allergy to Milk/Dairy. So sense then we have eliminated everything dairy; milk, cheese, yogurt, cookies, pudding, EVERYTHING that poor boy loved. He luckily has done amazingly well with it. He know what he can and can't have. He drinks the Soy, Almond, and Rice milk without any complaints, he calls it his special blue milk (because all the containers are blue). Even if he sees something on the table or something on someones plate with dairy, he will quickly say, "I can't eat it, it make me sick". He is such a smart little boy. Well, since we eliminated dairy we haven't had to do a single asthma related breathing treatment since. I totally believe the allergy was behind all the problems, treatments, and antibiotic after antibiotic that poor boy went through. I have done some further research on it and there are TONS of articles how dairy allergies can worsen Asthma and be the underlying problem. Here is one of the articles I found   Asthma explained by common allergy to milk and dairy products

I am mostly posting this for my mother in law because we were talking about it, so I wanted to post it so she could read the article too. But I do hope his asthma continues to lessen the further into the dairy free diet he is living.

Play Ball!

Andrew had such a fun time playing outside with his t-ball set. Zoey loved chasing after the ball. While they were playing today, I was out getting back to my roots.... I'm almost all blond again!
