So Friday night I started having some pain across my stomach and just thought it was the way I was leaning on the tub giving my kids a bath, so I went on with my night helping my mom put her tree away and getting most of the Christmas decor put away. By 11 p.m. I was doubled over in pain and I couldn't take it anymore. After telling my Mom and Dave where the pain was they had me call Drew to come get me to take me to the e.r. So not fun let me tell you. So after I was taken back to one of the rooms in the e.r. they did blood tests and found everything to look normal. But because the pain was so intense they did an ultrasound. They found gall stones and my gall blatter was swollen and had fluid around it. The admitted me into the hospital and I was on some really good pain meds through my i.v. So Saturday morning I had my gall blatter removed along with a stone that had made its way through the duct. The doc said my gall blatter was full of stones but only the one made it out. Well thry had told me before my surgery that if all goes well I can go home that same night. Well, I can't do anything simple. I was doing pretty good throughout the day after my surgery but not well enough to go home, so they said maybe Sunday. Well I had gotten up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and I passed. I had woken up with nurses all around me cleaning up the throw up that had happened as I was waking up. So they said nope not happening this morning. Sunday afternoon I went on a little walk down the hall with my nurse and started feeling dizzy so I stopped and help onto the wall. The next thing I new I was on the floor and 3 nurses were trying to get me up into a wheel chair. So my chances of going home Sunday at all were gone. Well Sunday night and this morning I was able to keep my food and pain pills down and hadn't fainted anymore so I was allowed to come home around 11 ish this morning.
I am so greatful for my Momma and Dave for watching my kids while I was gone. I knew they were so well taken care of I didn't worry about them at all. I love you guys! You're the best!

Recent Family Pictures
We had our family pictures taken at the beginning of November. Which was perfect because it was just in time for Zoey's 6 month pictures and Andrews 2 year pictures (a little over a month late, but hey it was done). The photographer we use is so talented. She got so many good pictures of the kids. When we left I was so afraid that all the pictures of Andrew weren't going to turn out because he was in a crabby mood. But I was so wrong, his turned out so cute. And Zoey luckily was as smiley as she always is so of course those turned out too. As for the family ones only a few of those turned out, but I love all the shots she got. So here is a sneak peek.

6 Months Old
So I know I am not to far from having to post her 7 month old pictures but I wanted to get these up while I am at it. For her 6th month Zoey had her well check at the doctors and got her shots. She did so well. She and Andrew both do so well with shots and getting over the pain quickly. She is growing so well and has the best personality and spirit. I love her so much.
Wow it's Been a While
I know I have been a slacker at posting lately, I'm sorry. I have had a lot of people tell me to up date and until now all I have done is the background and music. But a lot has happened.

Drew had his surgery and he is recovering well. He will have pt for I think 6 months if I remember right.
Zoey started cereal and baby food since I last posted. She is also crawling and sitting up. She is working on sitting herself up from laying down. She loves jumping in the bouncer chair entertainer thing. And is still the happiest baby ever. Zoey has some of the cutest fat rolls on her legs and arms. She is getting so big so quick it makes me sad.
Andrew's vocabulary is getting larger, he know what he wants and when he says 'YES' he says it with conviction. It's so stinking cute. He is getting so much better about doing his breathing treatment which I am so grateful for since it's still up in the air how long we are going to have to do this. He loves Batman and will wear his hat all day long if you let him. He is at the stage where he says goodbye to everything. When we get out of the car he says goodbye to his toys in there or when we leave home he will say goodbye to his toys there. I love it. He also really good about saying please and thank you and he will keep saying it until its acknowledged with a 'your welcome' which I'm also happy to see he is good with his manners.

We Have A Date....
Drew has been going to a specialist for his shoulders and after an x-ray and an MRI he needs surgery. I am so not looking forward to this but I am so grateful that he works so hard for our family and that we have good insurance. He will get to come home after the surgery, so no extra stays at the hospital (thank goodness cause I am a bit paranoid when I am home by my self with the kids at night). Anyway, we are just doing one shoulder at a time, easier that way for both of us. He is excited for the pain, popping, dislocations, etc. to be gone. I am happy that it is fixable so his pain will be gone. Okay so it is set for Nov. 20. The hospital will call when it is time to come in, we are hoping for as early as possible. He won't be able to eat ANYTHING after midnight the night before, so he wants to get in ASAP so he can get in get it done and come home. I have to say I am a little scared. Surgeries of all kinds scare me, especially when they are put to sleep and cut open. I also know that this is a bit in advanced but for those of you who read this could you please keep Drew in your prayers, and maybe me that i can get through this too ;) thanks!

Zoey's 5 Months!
Long Today- Gone Tomorrow!
Last Friday, the 10th I decided I needed to cut my hair. I was to the point I wasn't fixing it anymore, it looked awful, and I wanted a change. So I had to do it at that time so I wouldn't change my mind. So I made an appointment for that night at the Austin Kade Academy. I also got some lighter streaks put in throughout the top. So anyway this guy John was the lucky person to deal with the thickness he was unprepared for. He did an amazing job on the color. The cut however took FOREVER (but did turn out good) I was there for 5 yes FIVE hours. John was very nervous. He kept getting his instructor to make sure he was cutting it right and everything. After about 4 hours the instructor took over to finish the cut because it was time to close and it need to get done. I do have to say, I love my hair, they did a great job, I feel lighter and more put together. I would totally recommend going there, they are cheap, (cause they are learning) they do a good job, and you can go and get the whole package, mani, pedi, facial, hair, etc. So fun!! I just recommend if you have thick hair and want it cut there go with a simple cut. It might go quicker. :)

HALLOWEEN!!!
Halloween is so much fun to decorate for. I have such fun cute things ( I think).... but it may look like Halloween threw up... especially in this first pic... I may just need a solid color table cloth or something....so if any of you are good decoraters come help me please!!
This is the super fun craft I made with Lara.... I can't wait to make one for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Showcase Bookshelf
My stepmom Patricia gave me this lawyers bookshelf while the kids and I were there back in September. I always loved seeing it in their house and loved how she showcased photos in it. Well they recently moved into a new home and I didn't see it anywhere so I thought they sold it. Well I was telling them how I had moved things and was looking for a bookshelf for my glass pretties and nativity. Well she said this bookshelf was in her garage and to take it! I was so excited! It looks so cute in our living room. Thank you again Dad and Patricia! We love you!!
Idaho Falls Zoo
On Saturday September 27th we went to the zoo with Lara, Gracie, Isaac, Makah, and Shanda. It was so fun. The weather was wonderful and the animals we out. This is a picture of one of the penguins that came and peaked his head out a crack in the fence.

My Big Girl!
She absolutely loves sitting in her chair. She has so much fun being on Andrews level when he is playing on the floor. He on the other hand hates that she is in "his" chair. I have had that chair out for over a year and he never gave it the time of day until he saw Zoey in it. Now he gets upset and as soon as she is done sitting in it he gets in and laughs.

It Actually Worked!
I found a blog from a girl that works at an Aveda Salon in Hawaii, And she gave a little tid bit to give your hair more body. Use your conditioner first then shampoo. She didn't say why it works, so I tried it and my hair was full of body, which isn't normal considering how long, heavy, and thick my hair is. I love this new trick. I had to pass it along.

Handy Manny!
He Turned 2!
On Friday my baby boy turned 2! I can't believe it! Its so sad but it was so exciting at the same time. I made his birthday cake.... nothing exciting, but I was able to get a Handy Manny figure set to put on top. He got so many great gifts. He loves all his gifts and plays with them all all day long. He loves pulling around he roller suitcase his Aunt Lara and cousins got for him. He loves sleeping in his Manny p.j.s from Makah and Papa G. And pushing the trucks from Papa and Grandma W. Thanks to all of you who helped us celebrate! We are so greatful for Andrew in our family. He brings such a great spirit and love to our home and lives. We love you Andrew!
