EASTER!

We all had a fantastic Easter. The kids got to go to Makah's house for a Eater Egg Hunt and to color Eggs. Sadly it was so cold outside the hunt had to be inside. The kids had so much fun.. If any of you moms want a fantastic tip for coloring eggs, get wire whisks and put the egg inside for them to dip their egg in the color. You don't have to worry about splashes and even the younger ones can do it. (I saw this in a magazine). Zoey was even able to get in on the action. The worked wonderfully... NO SPILLED DYE! 

The Easter Bunny was so good to Andrew and Zoey. Andrew got a little T-Ball stand with a ball and bat. He also got some cars and candy. Zoey got a My Little Pony (that is pretty big), a bracelet, princess lips (as Zoey calls is but it's chap stick), and some candy. They were both so excited to see it when they woke up. Holidays truly are so much better when you have kids and can see the joy in their eyes. 

 

New Term

Today I started another term. For the last 6 months I have been working my tail off trying to make my audit requirements. I am still yet to know if they were met. I completed 36 credits total in that 6 month period. This term will be a little less stressful thankfully. I just can't believe in another 6 months I will be student teaching (if I meet audit requirements)!

I have to say I am so grateful for my husband and the help and patience he has given me. I have been so stressed and worried and he always knows the right thing to say to make me feel better.

I am grateful for my beautiful kids and their patience for their grumpy and stressed mom. I haven't been playing with them as much as I wish I were. Papers consumed my life! They still love me.

I am grateful for my mom and her willingness to watch the kiddos while I go into the school and teach mini lessons. I totally realize how consuming these last 9 months of school are going to be. I do feel bad not being the one with my kids and the one taking care of them. However I do know this is what I need to do and it is important I finish school and have a college degree.

Family is really the best and most important thing ever. I love you guys!

I Blame School!!

I know it has been forever since I have posted anything to my blog. For this I blame school. I am upto 27 credits this term and spent ALL of January working on papers, teaching a lesson, and completing forms. I have taken the first part of my Praxis II test and passed!! I take the second part in March. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that my plans for student teaching in September will not fail. If something happens and it does, I will not be able to start until January.

So now that I have a small break before I have to start working on my new class I wanted to let you know, we are all still alive and doing very well. Andrew is now a Sunbeam in primary, he loves going every week. Zoey is loving nursery and having a break from her brother. Drew is still busy with work and taking care of all of us. He is a great husband! We are looking forward to some new adventures this coming year.

Playing with Photo Editing!

I'm trying playing around with a photo editing program, I thought this looked pretty cool. I'm beginning though. What programs do you ladies use?

I'm pretty sure we have the cutest, funniest, smartest son in the world!

Andrew turned 3 on the 12th. His favorite place to eat is Craigo's Pizza, Pasta, and Salad Buffet. Everytime we turn into the parking lot he starts yelling "YAY!!" his favorite is getting the peas, baby tomatoes, and pepperonis. He is one happy clam with that. it is so cute. Anyway we met family there and had his party. Any time someone said, "Andrew are you 3?" his response everytime in his angry voice was "NO!!! I AM NOT!!" He makes me smile everyday!

He is such a blessing in our family. I'm so proud of him and his example he is to his little sister. He cares and worries about her so much. We took him to the ENT earlier this week and dropped Zoey off at my sisters so it would be a little easier. After the appointment the nurse let him pick a sucker after he grabbed one for him he grabbed another one and as I was saying "no buddy, just one" he said.. "No mama, this ones sisters" the nurse smiled and let him take one to her. He is so sweet. Andrew, I Love you!!
