I HATE Being Sick!

I started getting sick a week ago and thought it was just a stomach bug. But it never completely went away. Well Tuesday night after Drew got home from work. I was doing some school work and BAM! It totally hits all at once. I get a fever, chills, my throat is killing me, headache, and my body hurts. It was the weirdest thing. So I just kinda relaxed the rest of the night. I woke up at 5 am and felt worse so I took my temp and it was 102.8 YIKES! Other than that temp there was no change in any other symptom. So I called my sister (thank you for letting me wake you up) who is studying to become a nurse if I needed to go in somewhere or just hang it out. She said go. So my most AWESOME momma left work once my kiddos were awake to come help me. By this time my throat feels swollen shut my fever is still high and I feel like my head is going to BURST open. So my mom drove us to Redi Care (I LOVE this place) so I could get checked. Low and behold... I have Strep Throat... and to top it off, so does my sweet little Andrew. It has been the worst 4 days I have ever had to go through. I would NEVER wish this upon anyone ever! I can't eat cause it hurts to swallow, I can't sleep cause I can't swallow, and my stomach is upset from the Tylenol and antibiotics. Luckily today when I talk it doesn't sound like I have marbles in my mouth, I can swallow (with a little bit of pain) and I was able to eat a little bit of watermelon. So the meds are finally starting to work. Andrew on the other hand is NOT a wimp like his mother. He has been eating, drinking, sleeping, and being pretty much his normal happy self. The best thing is he doesn't fight us on taking his meds. He never has. When he sees his bottle of Tylenol of gas drops he points to it and says "peas". Needless to say we are going to have to lock down all the household drugs when he is able to get into the closet they are in (That is going to be a scary day!).

Momma, thank you so much for taking time away from your work schedule to come over and take me to the doctor, watch my kiddos, and did everything you could to help out. You are the greatest mom and grandma any person could ask for!
I love you Mom.

I'm so sorry you feel so sick! Strep is never fun to deal with, but I'm glad Andrew is in good spirits still. Bring on the popcicles!
